Performance

The base engine for both is a 4-cylinder Ecoboost with a 2L displacement delivering 255 hp @ 5,000 rpm & 280 lb-ft @ 3,000 rpm. It's capable of going from 0–60 in 6 seconds which is fast enough for everyday driving needs but not too fast to be unsafe on freeways or city streets. It gets 34 mpg highway which is great considering how much power it has available!

The Bottom Line

In most respects, these two vehicles are close competitors in terms of what they offer. The 2022 Lincoln Nautilus is a perfect vehicle with advanced comfort and safety features. It's also reasonably practical, spacious, and provides a nice balance between performance and efficiency, which we can't say about other SUVs in its class, such as the 2022 Ford Edge. However, although it feels substantial on-road compared to its rivals, it might be slightly more challenging to maneuver in tight spaces than comparable crossover SUVs due to its height.
