What Do Lincoln Dashboard Warning Lights And Symbols Mean?

Dashboard

The dashboard in your Lincoln has several warning lights and symbols. These lights can alert you to problems with your vehicle or the operation of its safety features. They may also indicate a problem with another part of your vehicles, such as the audio system or power windows.

Engine Oil Pressure Warning Light

This light comes on when there is a problem with the oil pressure sensor in your engine. If the light stays lit for more than 10 seconds, stop the car immediately and turn off the engine. Check the oil level and refill if necessary. If it stays lit after filling, have the vehicle towed to an auto repair shop for further testing.

Engine Overheating Warning Light

This light comes when your engine temperature gauge rises above the normal operating range (usually between 0% and 100%). The engine's cooling system has failed, which can cause severe damage if not addressed quickly. Turn off the engine immediately and pull over to let it cool down before attempting to restart it again once it has cooled down sufficiently enough to continue without causing further damage (at least 30 minutes).

Low Fuel Warning Light

This light comes on when your fuel tank is near empty so that you don't run out of gas while driving along an unsafe stretch of road or highway where no gas station exists nearby within a reasonable distance from where
